CPRE response to NPPF-NMDC consultation proposals

This is national CPRE’s response to a consultation on draft revisions to the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) and a new draft National Model Design Code. The main issues raised include the use of directions to restrict permitted development, planning policies on protected landscapes and the design of new housing. The consultation ran from January to March 2021.
