We’d love to hear from anyone who would like to help us protect the Herefordshire countryside.

Are you interested in joining our Citizen Science team; one of our biggest projects ever with a commitment to help stop pollution in the River Wye catchment!?  Maybe as an Assistant Planning volunteer; helping our PLAN team object to unsuitable and damaging proposed developments in our countryside.  Why not become a Hedgerow Hero by helping us plant new hedgerows in Herefordshire between October 2024 and April 2025 to increase these vital wildlife corridors throughout our county.  Or you can join our Dark Skies Herefordshire team helping us map light pollution in and around Herefordshire.

    We’re passionate about enhancing the countryside in Herefordshire to make it a better place for everyone to live, work and enjoy. We value the contribution of our volunteers enormously and with your support, we can achieve even more.

    By volunteering with us you’ll be part of a friendly team of like-minded people. You’ll gain new skills and we’ll give you the training you may need for your volunteering role. Our volunteers join us – and stay on – because they enjoy what they do and believe it makes a difference to our environment in Herefordshire.
