Members' InformationThe proposed changes to the planning
system under the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) are
due to be published in March 2012. Therefore, whilst amendments are being

Of particular concern is that the NPPF contains no wording to protect
the 'ordinary countryside'. Star Count 2012 CPRE and Cfds are once again running the Star Count, to continue to map the spread of light pollution. Please join us in counting the stars and do invite your family and friends to join in. How old are your local hedges?
How many species would you find? CPRE Herefordshire commissioned a report, late 2010, which casts doubt on Herefordshire Council's Housing targets in the county and is calling for the Council to perform a considered review of its proposed targets.
