The Future of Farming in Europe: The Polish Example.
A seminar is to be held at the Courtyard, Hereford, 3pm 16th May 2010.
2010 is Biodiversity Year and concepts of sustainability will be presented for discussion.
The speakers are Sir Julian Rose and Jadwiga Lopata of ICPPC
(International Coalition to Protect the Polish Countryside)

Mark Kynaston undertook a Master's degree programme at Holme Lacy College, Herefordshire, during which he spent one month on a placement with CPRE Herefordshire. CPRE asked Mark to investigate how self-sufficient Herefordshire is in timber for buildings.
His findings are available as a *.pdf file. Mark was unable to complete his study in the time available but was able to define some of the critical issues. We welcome enquiries from students or volunteers wishing to complete this interesting work.
