Sites chosen for the exhibition

In February 2006 the Herefordshire committee indentified various sites, which were at risk, either from development or from other issues.

Once the sites were identified the task then fell to Barbara, our Admin Support officer, to visit each of the sites and create directions, so that the artists could visit and view for themselves. Barbara also created a photographic record of her visits; some of these photographs were put on display at the exhibition, in order that visitors might view the sites. The sites chosen by the branch, along with a photo of each, are below:

The artists were given the list of sites and directions, for research and then asked to produce their own interpretation of the site(s) they chose. The results of the artists' hard work can be seen by following the links for each medium (i.e. Book Artist) on the exhibition page.
